Gold 2 building the Sprinkles Robot Design part 2


Today we finished up building the robot.  We used two motors and attached them to our holder with rods at the bottom of the holder.  Then we a holder for the ultrasonic sensor underneath the nxt  we did this by attaching to long beams on both sides and then attaching the beams in the front to each other with another beam. Then attached two small curved beams to the beam that is across and then attached the ultrasonic senor.  Then we tested it and the nxt moved forward every time the sprinkles rotated forward.  We realized that this could cause problems and we attached two wheels to the back of the nxt with curved and straight beams. From this point the robot worked just fine.
