Our NXT has an ultrasonic sensor attached to the bottom in order to detect the ice cream. The motors then move slowly in order to flick sprinkles onto the ice cream. Setting the motors on a low power setting will allow our sprinkle machine to conserve the amount of sprinkles and flick a small amount on the ice cream. We will be able to refill the machine with sprinkles every third or fourth bowl.
