Whipped Cream Dispenser
The first design for the whipped cream dispenser. The design has the can held upside down over the conveyor mechanism. A sensor at the bottom will detect when the bowl is in range. From there we have a motor which will pull the tire around the nozzle to spray out the whipped cream. The supports for the can are still being designed but the rest of the machine is ready to be built. The greatest problem for this machine is stability. We need supports which won't falter when the nozzle is pulled. The tire also must maintain a firm grip on the nozzle and not slip.

Today the entire structure was redesigned and tested. It works! The original design had to be broken down to only the base with the addition of boxes for support. The robot on the conveyor belt can pass through the two boxes while the ultrasonic sensor detects it. The NXT then tells the motors to turn which pulls the tape and shooting the whipped cream into the bowl.
